So today I wanna talk about how I’m keeping myself and Grace occupied during this crazy time. Not going to lie it’s been super hard and I’ve spent so much money on little things that I wouldn’t usually spend money on. She’s ate so much junk and watched so much TV and I’ve neglected my house so much it’s such a mess! She likes to play outside all day everyday so I’ve got her a trampoline for her birthday as well as a slide and she’s enjoys playing with them. We also have a hose in the back garden and she likes to run about and pretend she’s watering the grass! I’ve really enjoyed going on walks. We live beside some water so we like to go down and throw stones in the water and look for fish but we have never found any ha-ha!

I bought chalk for her to draw on the ground outside. We wrote our names and drew some rainbows, she loves it! It might be tough staying in all day everyday but I’m absolutely loving it! We enjoy bringing the mattress through into the living room and watching movies on the TV. We also enjoy art and crafts together in the back garden as well as in the house.
Grace likes to paint glue and cut things out of paper but she also just enjoys to play on her own in her room making an absolute mess. I haven’t found it too difficult most days. But I think this is because she is so independent and just does her own thing. I think because it was her birthday recently and she got lots of presents she’s just been so occupied with all her toys, She has her days when she is so fed up and grumpy but there’s nothing I can do because I sometimes feel the same and just want to do nothing!
It’s really, really difficult when both of us are not feeling good but I think that being there for Grace is the most important thing I can do in such a confusing time for both of us! On our bad days we just cosy on the sofa eating rubbish, watching movies, and just doing absolutely nothing other than chill out together.

Grace absolutely loves a spa day so I think we will be doing that next. Having a spa day with facemasks, back massages, foot spas, and paint each other’s nails!
To be honest all you need to do is just be there and honestly you can turn anything into fun! A cardboard box, washing basket, the bath; you can even put things all over the floor and pretend the floor is lava! The world is your imagination. We won’t have this ever again and we need to make the most of this. Be there, have fun and be in the moment.
Hope you’re having a good day, stay safe.
